Point in Time Survey Assistance Needed

The annual point in time survey will be conducted the last week of January. Providers of service to the homeless are asked to collect data for their clients coming in from January 23-30. Volunteers will be making a "street count" on January 29-30. There are two methods of gathering information. One is a count tool, that simply determines the numbers of homeless. The other is a one page, front and back, survey that addresses the causes and solutions to homelessness. Please call 409-3070 if you can help in any way.

Volunteers Needed

We deeply appreciate those of you who have responded to our need for volunteers. We have not only gotten additional help at cold night shelters and feeding programs, but we have been really blessed with volunteers who have taken over the Sunday and Thursday laundry programs. Thanks to those of you who continue to help week after week.

What's Needed Now

Please call before bringing items, to ensure that donations are still required. Each agency has limited storage space, and beds, for example, are large. Food is always welcome. The Continuum of Care also serves as a transfer point, getting supplies to the places where they are needed. Call 226-7694 to make sure someone is available.
