Holiday Fundraiser

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE COMPLETED SOLD OUT OF THE TURKEYS AND PORK BUTTS!  WE THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT! 

Pick Up: A confirmation will be sent to you!  Don’t forget to bring your cans when you pick up your turkey/Butt in Downtown Poquito Bayou on on Tuesday November 22nd & Wednesday 23rd from noon to 5:00 p.m.  You must have pre-ordered prior to pick up!  Directions will be sent with your confirmation.

ALL (100%) OF YOUR DONATIONS go to Opportunity, Inc!  Only 150-175 pieces available, they will go fast!

 If you would like to purchase the Turkey and don’t necessarily want the bird we have several families identified that we could bring it to their home on your behalf just let us know. If you would like to purchase the Butt and don’t want the Butt will take care of it for you!

We are looking for corporate sponsors to cover the cost of the ingredients, and purchasers for the turkeys. Obviously, we encourage all our holiday feast lovers to check this out.  Call us at 266-7694 if you are interested!




Donate Personal Care Products
Opportunity, Inc. will be collecting baskets of personal care and comfort items for the homeless. We are looking for the standards of soap, toothpaste, shampoo, shaving cream and deodorant, but we are also looking for children's books, coloring books, feminine personal care items, socks for men, women and children. It's not just men who are homeless anymore. There are women and children living in cars and encampments, and they need help too. Drop items off at any Opportunity, Inc. office.



Wish List and Meals Needed Immediately

Okaloosa and Walton Counties are opening their hearts to Opportunity Place. Churches, civic groups, the School District, and private individuals are donating meals, tutoring, children's' programs, and filling our wish list in leaps and bounds. Men and women walk off the street with boxes of the items on our wish list (most of which are consumable and go fast), and others have assisted with big purchases including a commercial dishwasher, now on order, and with donations of whatever amount they can afford. Your donations are making an enormous difference in the lives of many. 

We will continue to need money (Gulf Power does not accept old clothes), donations of meals, office and residential furniture, food for the community food pantry scheduled to open in October,. And surely, we need volunteers to put the human heart on the services funded through your gifts. Please check our our new improved wish list here.

 Meals Needed
Our shelter is in need of prepared meals for our families. Click here to access the most current meal calendar. If you, your church, or organization, would like to sign up to bring a meal to the shelter, please contact Lenore at 409-3070. Volunteers just drop the meals off at the shelter, no clean up is required.
